Hey Beerknurds! This month's craft beer tasting is going to be LEGEND....wait for it....BERRY!

I know we usually host this shin-dig every last Thursday of the month but there is the little thing called Thanksgiving so... we had to make other plans.

Don't worry we set aside a special day to give thanks to the wonderful creation of craft beer, November 30th. The tasting will be at the same time, from 7 pm - 9 pm. Admission is $5.00 per person & includes 10 beer samples + a raffle ticket.

As always we have a lot of beers from the beautiful state of Texas, but we have allowed for some West Coast breweries to make their debut as well. Now let's go down the list to see what you will be getting yourself into.

No Label Brewing Company and their Elda M. Milk Stout, crafted with 10 different roasted, chocolate malts with a hint of coffee. This creamy and sweet stout should be enjoyed at a warmer temperature.

We have two beers from Dallas' Deep Ellum Brewing Company, the Praline Porter and Play Date, an American Sour Blonde Ale. The Praline Porter is brewed with locally harvested pecans, featuring subtle notes of vanilla and caramel to give the aroma of the Southern style praline. The juicy Play Date is an American Sour Ale with notes of lemon, citrus and melon. This Ale uses Deep Ellum's Dallas Blonde as the base and ferments the brew with dates to create the unforgettable taste.

Texas' 903 Brewer's has brewed a stout like no other. The Land of Milk and Honey has broken free from the traditional stout flavor being brewed with roasted malts and Texas honey to give a crisp, sweet taste.

Austin's Independence Brewing Co. is introducing their newest seasonal beer, the Cucumber Redbud. A refreshingly tart and lemony base, the original Independence Redbud, has now been brewed with cucumber water. The unique style has cut some of the tartness creating a lingering cucumber flavor.

Dogfish Head Craft Brews has collaborated with a family-run outdoor clothing company, Woolrich, to create the Pennsylvania Tuxedo, a grassy citrus concoction. This pale ale is made with a dry yet doughy malt backbone, allowing for the hops to shine balancing out its bitter flavor.

Chicago's Lagunitas Brewing Company winter seasonal, Brown Shugga Ale, is "dangerously slammable." This sweet, caramel and toffee flavored Ale would go perfectly with that extra piece of pie you've been eyeing.

Golden Road Brewing Wolf Pup Session IPA is hoppy and refreshing with a wild aroma of tropical and citrus characters. Enjoy the pup, with your pup on your side when you are remembering the good ol' days of summer.

Dallas' Bishop Cider Co. has created a perfect balance of cranberry and blackberry cider, known as Crackberry. This cider combines the sweet and tart flavors of both berries to create a colorful, well-balanced cider.

Schilling Hard Cider, from Washington, has crafted Mischief Maker. This cider is filled with the tart bite of the Washington cranberry, and the bold California pomegranate for a edgy and refreshing taste.

After getting your cheeks pinched by that one weird aunt over the Thanksgiving holiday, you are due for a good craft beer, so treat yourself at our craft beer tasting!

These beers will go perfectly with all those Thanksgiving leftovers too! If you need some help figuring which beers go with what then check out our last blog post that tells you what beers types pairs best with your turkey dinner here.
